Tonja Mere Hearing Instrument Specialist at Paradise Hearing, AZ

Tonja Mere

Hearing Instrument Specialist
Tonja Mere started her career in hearing healthcare as a receptionist. Through her hard work and caring nature with patients she was promoted to a technician, and then in 2001 she became a licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser. She worked for one of the largest medical clinics in Michigan before moving to Arizona; and she spent five years as a district manager overseeing 21 locations in multiple states before joining Paradise Hearing over a year ago.

After many years in the hearing healthcare field, Tonja prefers to work one on one with her patients. She believes there is nothing more rewarding than to see the change on people’s faces when they can finally hear again.

Tonja enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, baking, and reading. She loves all animals but dogs are her favorite. Knowing that Paradise Hearing donates a part of their earnings to foundations that support dog rescues is a bonus for her.

How We Give Back to Our Community

Heather Gabaldon, owner of Paradise Hearing outside in AZ with her dogs
Todd and Heather have been volunteering and fostering for Breeder Release Adoption Service for over 11 years. Breeder Release Adoption Service is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Colorado with foster homes in CO, NM, and AZ. The mission of Breeder Release is to, “Provide help and comfort to dogs who are being released from breeders for any reasons, surrendered dogs who the owners can no longer care for, and dogs who are placed on euthanasia lists in shelters. We educate the public on the importance of altering their pets, preventing euthanasia, and the need to rescue abandoned pets.”

Over the years, Todd and Heather have personally fostered and found wonderful homes for over 80 dogs and counting! Heather has also volunteered at the shelter in Colorado, assisted in transporting dogs from the CO shelter to AZ foster homes, and volunteered at many of the local adoption events here in AZ. They believe it is important to educate the public on the benefits of adoption. There are so many wonderful dogs available at the shelter and in rescue groups.

We donate a portion of our earnings to Breeder Release rescue ever year.
